Original Pitts Special S1-S flown by Lorenz Eberherr

Hello Gerd,
I wanted, that you are the first to know about it. It took a while, but now I am a member of the Pitts community again! And I owe this to you quite a lot.
It is my forth Pitts, the first three I built from your kit, this time it's a full size Pitts Special S1-S.

Greetings Lorenz

... herewith some photo's of my Pitts in an own construction version, but with various parts supplied by you: cockpit canopy, motor cowl, Titan ZG 80B engine, wingspan is 1.82m, weight is 10.5kg.
Perhaps I will later build a Pitts from your kit, your way of constructing things really appeals to me.
The various parts you supplied fit perfectly, the cowl being slightly smaller one does not notice ...hardly.

... have been looking through your new gallery, and I really liked what I saw! Caused me to also send you some pictures of my TC models. Hannes Lutzenberger has built this superb model from your kit some years ago.

Pitts Special S1-S built by Michael Breitenmoser

...been an active modeller for the last 30 years, build a lot, especially with wood. My yellow Pitts is built from a really old kit I purchased from a club member back in 1985, had it's maiden flight 1998. Powered with a ZG 62 bought in 1988 and stills runs absolutely reliably. The design and construction of your kit has deeply impressed me so much, so I built an S2A to the same scale and identical construction. (Span 2.04m, engine Titan ZG 80B, stainless silencer #7470).

Summary: TC models and engines are really superb.
Attached you see several photo's of my two Pitts taken in September 05.

Many greetings from Switzerland,
Michael Breitenmoser

... for your really excellent and well thought out construction Pitts kit I would like to really thank you. The building was a pleasure and the flying performance a well earned reward for all the hours invested.
Of course one cannot buy something of this class in ARF, plus anyone can really trust all your information regarding CG, incidences and control surfaces deflections. This is not always to be found in other companies products.

Greetings from the Pfalz,
Dieter Fetzer

Pitts Special S1-S built by Günter Hünten

... after several pauses, due to building other models, I was at last able to commit my Toni Clark Pitts to the elements over the last weekend. She had spent enough time in the cellar building room after all.

First flight, she purred like a tame cat. Have seldom had a model so quiet and so smooth in manoeuvers. I am excited as to what it will be like when the engine is really run in and the pilot can really open the throttle to the stop.

Fitting the closed cockpit canopy nearly drove me crazy, hence the cockpit was at home for the first flight.

The ZG 62 starts superbly and runs like clockwork ...at tick over, well... good, as a cuckoo clock if you like.

Many greetings,
Günter Hünten

... I wish to send you herewith photo's of my Pitts and like to thank you for the excellent service from your company.
The Pitts engined with the Titan ZG 74B is simply real fun. Whether in aerobatics, speeding arround, or by glider towing, this plane is super good.

The Pup built from your kit now flies interference free (even with Multiplex radio) - after the HT lead being screened by you.

Greetings, Roland Riecken
